The Compagnie Sucrière Sénégalaise has built up more than 50 years of experience in the production of refined sugar made of 100% cane in Senegal.

The company covers an area of more than 12,000 ha in the Senegal River valley.

Two irrigation systems are practiced at CSS: gravity irrigation on 7,660 ha and drip irrigation on 3,000 ha.

Agricultural production in 2022 exceeded the milestone of 1,425,000 tons of cane.
